Cheeseburger Pizza

Yes, I said it. Cheeseburger pizza! This was surprisingly yummy and simple to make. Looking for an easy, go-to weeknight meal? Well, look no further!

Ingredients:
Boboli pizza crust
About 1/2 cup of ketchup
2-3 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1.5 pounds ground beef
Diced tomatoes
Diced dill pickles or pickle chips
Sliced red onion
Shredded lettuce
Shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:
1. Cook ground beef in a pan and drain
2. Combine ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Spread it on the pizza crust as the sauce.
3. Cover the pizza with the beef, tomatoes, onions, pickles, finish with cheese.
4. Bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes
5. Top with lettuce, slice, and enjoy!

Will You Be My Valentine?

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays! I think that it is so fun to show people how much you mean to them, especially on February 14. I wanted to get a little something for my students for the special day, but didn't really want to get them candy. I also didn't want to have to spend a lot of money since I have fourteen little Valentines to buy for! ;) One day I just so happened to be at one of the greatest places on earth, Target, and got the perfect idea! In the Target Dollar Spot (they seriously have amazing gifts and knick knacks for a dollar) and saw the cutest fortune cookie erasers. They came in packs of six and three colors. Here's what I came up with and what will be on my students' desks this Thursday.
This is what the package looks like. I typed up a little note to put in them that says "Fortune-ate to be your teacher!" Gotta love a cheesy pun! ;)

And here is the final product!

As you can see, super cheap and super easy! Hope my kiddos like them! (They are always needing erasers so this is perfect for them!) Also, my coworker/friend reminded me that we were coming upon our 100th day of school so I made these for my students as a little gift for the 100th Day! Gotta love ideas from Pinterest.

End of 2013 and the Beginning of 2014

Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. So much so that I begin listening to Christmas music November 1. [My students love me for it...NOT! (That's okay, they are young...they have time yet.)]
This Christmas was extra special for a few reasons. One, my sweet niece is around, as well as my favorite little boy, Zane. Reason two, my good friend got engaged to her boyfriend of SEVEN years! I couldn't be happier for them and cannot wait to be a part of their special day. Christmas was filled with lots of family time and friend time. (Sorry this post-like many- will be filled with lots o' pictures) Then New Years Eve rolled around and I spent a low key night with dear friends at their newly renovated home. Needless to say I have thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas break! So before I begin rambling here is my picture recap of the holidays.

Oh...and did I mention that I got to see Mr. Timberlake in November? Because I did!! And yes, as a matter of fact I did scream and act like a 12 year old girl. And lost my voice. I mean look how close I was to him! It was one of the best nights of my life, no lie.
Mackenzie is almost 6 months and she loves pancakes! Look at her red hair!

John turned 25 so his sweet wifey threw him a surprise party in December.

Of course I said yes to being a bridesmaid in Kirsten and Kurt's wedding!
In November I had my students over for a Girls Craft Night.
And finally, the night Cassie and I found out that Kirsten and Kurt were engaged. So excited for them and all the wedding festivities! Twenty fourteen is off to such a great start and can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
